Banks take hit on ISEQ
The ISEQ index of Irish shares was valued at 2,377.11 at 11am this morning, a fall of 30.71 points or 1.28%.
In the wake of the Government's €7bn recapitalisation of AIB and Bank of Ireland, both banks were down, AIB almost 20%, falling 21c to 87c, while Bank of Ireland was down 5c to 56c.
