New Mango store to create 10 jobs in Dublin

Spanish fashion retailer Mango is to create up to 10 jobs with a new store in Dublin.

The challenging move comes amid declining retail sales and as shoppers head to the North to avail of the weak sterling exchange rate.

The store at the Swords Pavilions, which opens on Thursday, is expected to employ up to 10 staff initially.

Stefano Anoja, Mango’s country manager for the UK and Ireland said: “We feel very committed to this market and its great potential.

“Being present in prime locations is part of our business strategy worldwide.”

Mango is Spain’s second-largest exporter of women’s fashion. Swords Pavilions, which has more than 100 store, draws 200,000 visitors each week.

Tenants include brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Zara, A-Wear, H&M, Bertoni, Diesel, Espirit and LA Lanidor.
