Two companies to create 200 jobs
Two hundred new jobs will be created over the next two years in two separate job announcements.
Weight Loss Management Clinics is opening 20 new clinics around the country, creating 150 new positions.
The jobs will be in the area of weight loss consultants and administrative staff.
Meanwhile, 50 new high-level jobs are on the way in Dublin with the opening of a new European hub by the Gerson Lehrman Group.
The group provides expertise in the area of decision-making assistance for government and business.
Tánaiste Mary Coughlan said IDA Ireland would support the Gerson Lehman investment.
“This highly sophisticated operation is perfectly in line with the Government’s continuing efforts to position Ireland as the leading European location-of-choice for innovation-led and knowledge-based global investments,” she said.
Recruitment has already begun with the company seeking engineering and software graduates, product managers and professionals to work with Gerson Lehrman’s consultants.
The firm, which has teams in New York and London, has 200,000 international experts on its books able to advise on IT, legal, finance, accounting, sales and marketing operations.
