An international credit information firm with branches in Ireland and the UK is to cut up to 300 jobs by the end of March, it emerged this afternoon.

Experian announced the cuts as part of a global cost-saving plan.

The company employs 60 people at its facility in the Northern Cross Business Park on the Malahide Road in Dublin.

It has not yet been decided if jobs will be lost here. Experian is to begin a 90-day consultation period in January.
