DCC pays almost €10m for drinks distributor

DCC plc, the business support services group has acquired FindlaterGrants, the Irish wine and spirits distribution business in a deal worth €9.6m.

C&C owned FindlaterGrants markets and distributes wine and spirits to multiple retailers, off-licences, restaurants and hotels throughout Ireland.

The business has 32 employees.

DCC has said it expects to generate significant commercial and operating synergies from the integration of FindlaterGrants with its own wine distribution business Woodford Bourne.
