Campaigners celebrate after Tesco store plan is rejected

Campaigners were celebrating victory in a “David and Goliath” battle today after a Tesco bid to build a supermarket in a small UK coastal town was rejected.

A planning inspector upheld an earlier decision to turn down plans for a new store in Sheringham, Norfolk.
