Dairy farmers to protest over milk prices

The country's 20,000 dairy farmers are not getting a fair price for their product this year, according to the Irish Farmer's Association (IFA).

Around 1,000 farmers are expected to stage a protest later today outside the headquarters of the Kerry Group in Tralee.

They want the company to increase the price it pays farmers for their product.

The IFA is accusing the company of running a monopoly and forcing farmers to accept a low price.
