Gardaí search offices of German bank at IFSC

German police and Gardaí have searched the offices of a German bank at the International Financial Services Centre in Dublin.

Computers, electronic data and documents were seized during yesterday's operation at Sachsen's Bank.

The search is believed to be part of investigation into how the institution almost collapsed on the back of investments made at its Irish operations.
