Most small firms optimistic despite economic downturn

Almost two-thirds of small businesses in Ireland expect to grow rapidly over the next year, despite the economic downturn, according to a survey published today.

More than 400 companies on both sides of the border were contacted during the research by HP Ireland and the Small Firms Association.
