C&C appoints UK MD for Magners brand

The board of C&C has appointed John Holberry as managing director of its Magners cider business in the UK, with effect from March 18. He will join the board of the group on appointment.

Magners cider sells as Bulmers in Ireland.

Holberry joins the group from Coors Brewers Limited, where he has been managing director of Coors Sales Operations since 2001.

He has held a number of senior positions in the Coors/Bass/Courage companies since joining in1987, culminating in his appointment to the Bass Board in 1997.
