THE leading three British directors of Irish drinks group, C&C shared€1.73 million in pay in their first full year in charge; according to the group’s just published annual report.

THE ISEQ index finished down 37.46 points yesterday at 2,129.35 in line with sharp falls across Asia and Europe as investors dumped shares following another batch of weak economic data and fears that the car market is in serious trouble.

The managing director of drinks group C&C's cider operations in Britain is to resign, the company announced today.

MAGNERS cider, owned by Clonmel-based C&C, lost further market share and distribution last month in Britain.

The board of C&C has appointed John Holberry as managing director of its Magners cider business in the UK, with effect from March 18. He will join the board of the group on appointment.
