9,000 expected to Showcase fair in Dublin

Around 9,000 businesspeople are expected to attend Ireland's largest international trade fair at the RDS in Dublin in the coming days.

The annual Showcase Ireland event is set to generate more than €40m in sales orders, €14m of it coming from abroad.

Five hundred and fifty exhibitors from the crafts, fashion, jewellery and interiors industries have stalls at the fair, which is a key event in the Irish business calendar.
