ISEQ down
The ISEQ index of Irish shares fell by 11.74 points to 6973.68 this morning.
There were some positive moves however; AIB saw a 13c surge to €15.78 while Anglo Irish Bank was up by a more modest 3.1c to €10.68.
Pharmaceutical company Elan was up 2.9c to almost €15.73 while insurance broking and property development firm FBD Holdings saw the biggest rise so far today, up 68c to €25.68. PaddyPower saw a 30c rise to €23.20.
CRH was one of the companies reversing the positive trend - the building materials supplier was down 40c to €23.90. Ryanair saw a 5.6c fall to €4.60.
