'One in eight bosses delaying starting a family'
Company bosses are delaying having children because of the increased pressure of work, according to a new report today.
A UK survey of 300 male and female managers found that one in eight was putting off starting a family, especially those under 25.
Abbey Business Banking said its research, among owners of small and medium-sized firms, showed that men were more willing than women to delay having a child for their career.
Ian Wilson, managing director of Abbey Business Banking, said: “This research indicates the very real pressure that bosses are under, and how this can impact their work-life balance.”
