Top executives enjoyed 7.1% pay rise in past year

The figures show that the top 6,200 executives in the country enjoyed wage increases well above the inflation rate of 4.9% for the same period.

Almost 80% of these top earners were men.

The IMI says the highest paid CEOs come from the IT sector, were their salaries averaged €312,000.
