Dunnes to create 300 jobs in new store

Dunnes Stores is creating 300 jobs with the opening of its new store in the Charlestown Shopping Centre today.

The new store, located just off junction 5 of the M50, behind the Joe Duffy BMW garage, contains 80,000 square feet of grocery, textiles and home outlets.

“We are delighted to be opening this new store in Charlestown”, said Martin Ryder, grocery manager of the new store.

“We have received a warm welcome and much support from the local people for the creation of 300 new jobs in the area as well as opening a brand new and very spacious store.”

RTÉ’s Marty Whelan will officially open the Centre, which offers 800 car parking spaces.
