Former Bord Fáilte chief set to lead Greencore development

Greencore is moving ahead with its €500m plans to redevelop the former sugar plant in Mallow, County Cork and have appointed a leading businessman to head up the massive project.

Redmond O’Donoghue has been named as chairman of the Mallow West Development Board, who will oversee the multi-million plans — which is the largest integrated project ever proposed for north Cork.
