Pay soars for FTSE-100 bosses
Directors of Britain's top companies saw their pay soar 37% last year, with chief executives receiving an average of £2,875,000 (€4,231,845), a new survey has found.
For the first time the salaries, bonuses and benefits paid to FTSE-100 company executives topped £1bn (€1.47bn), according to the study, which is published in The Guardian newspaper today.
