Berlusconi linked to Emap move

Italian magazine publisher Mondadori, controlled by former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, is looking to snap up Emap’s consumer magazines arm, it emerged today.

The Italian firm has reportedly asked for a sales memorandum on the UK’s second biggest magazine publisher, with an interest in acquiring its consumer titles including FHM, Closer and Heat, according to The Times.
