NTR announces acquisition of US recycling entities

NTR has today announced its first two recycling acquisitions in North America, with the acquisition of Recycle Management Corp of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Delta Management Group LLC of Normal, Illinois.

The former is the leading recycling business in western Pennsylvania and the latter is the qualitative leader in the US recycling led waste management broking sector.

This coincides with the announcement of the groups preliminary financial results for the year ending Match 31 2007.

They also revealed that group revenue for the year was €446.9m, a decrease of €21.1m compared to the 15-month period to March 31 (€468m). On a time adjusted basis, this reflects an underlying increase in revenue of 19%.

Group EBITDA for the year was €79.4m, a decrease of €5.3m compared to the 15-month period to March 31 (€84.7m). On a time adjusted basis, this reflects an underlying increase in EBITDA of 17%.
