Flood risk firms 'may have insurance cover withdrawn'

UK businesses in areas at risk from flooding may face higher premiums or even have their cover withdraw altogether, Europe’s biggest insurer warned today.

German insurer Allianz said the recent floods in northern England were a “wake-up call” for the industry.
