Ulster Bank reveal airport advertising deal

Ulster Bank has today announced details of its new high profile advertising at Dublin Airport.

Under a two-year agreement with Dublin Airport Authority, Ulster Bank has externally branded the eight Air-bridges on pier B. This is the first time that the Air-bridges have been branded externally in Ireland. The new advertising is aimed at raising awareness of the Ulster Bank brand and has an estimated spend of €450,000.

Edel O’Leary, head of group brand and communications at Ulster Bank Group, said; “We are delighted to unveil our new advertising venture at Dublin Airport. Our parent group RBS has lead the charge advertising in this way at airports all over Europe, including, Manchester, Edinburgh and Frankfurt. However, this is a first for Ireland and we are looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with the Dublin Airport Authority.”

She continued: “We have invested significantly in this innovation and are very proud to have Ulster Bank displayed in such a prominent manner.”
