Benetton family eye up Little Chef

The Little Chef roadside restaurant chain could be bought by Italy’s wealthy Benetton family, it was reported today.

The family – which founded the Benetton clothing chain and has its own Formula One racing team – has made an approach for the business through its Italian motorway services firm Autogrill, the Sunday Times newspaper said.
