A Dragon’s Den entrepreneur will open his first restaurant today.

Singer Levi Roots launched his spicy brown sauce nationwide after impressing judges on the TV show.

His Caribbean restaurant and takeaway, Papine Jerk Centre, opens in Battersea, south London, today.

Mr Roots scooped £50,000 worth of backing from the BBC Dragon’s Den show to help launch his Reggae, Reggae sauce which then went on sale at Sainsbury’s.

Martin Linton, Labour MP for Battersea, will attend today’s lunchtime opening.
