Bord Gáis has unveiled a €40m project to bring gas to 11 towns in Galway and Mayo.

The Gaswest Project will take three years to develop. Representatives of Bord Gáis Networks have met with Mayo County Council to outline the first phase of the construction programme. Work is due to start in Castlebar and Westport next month.
