Northern Ireland Energy Holdings (NIEH) have started talks with Phoenix Energy Holdings about buying the Phoenix-owned gas transmission pipeline between Islandmagee and Belfast.

Northern Ireland Energy Holdings' principal object is to own and operate energy infrastructure assets in the interests of the energy consumers of the North.
