Dozens of Japan's flights grounded by strike
Staff at All Nippon Airways (ANA) began a 24-hour strike today after negotiations over pay broke down, grounding dozens of domestic flights in Japan, the airline said in a statement.
Unions told the company they were to walk out after their last-ditch negotiations failed.
The strike was expected to cause the cancellation of 15% of ANA’s domestic flights, but is not expected to affect international flights, the airline said.
