Consultants to conduct review of RTE licence fee

A team of consultants is to conduct an external review into RTE's television licence fee adjustment.

Minister for Communications Noel Dempsey has announced that Indecon International Economic Consultants will conduct the review for the second year in a row.

Any changes to the fee will depend on RTE's performance last year, especially with regard to its statement of commitments, as well as its ability to implement structural changes.
