ISEQ slips in morning trade
The ISEQ index of Irish shares slipped by almost half a percentage point this morning, down 47.12 to 9497.48.
Shares in fruits distribution company Fyffes slipped by 5c to €1.10 after the company said its profits had been hit by €41m by new EU importing regulations. Fyffes announced before-tax profits of €22.3m for 2006.
Its two demerged companies Blackrock International and Total Produce were down 3c and 2c respectively today.
Aer Lingus saw a lift of 1c to €3.16 in morning trade, while Ryanair lost 12c to €6.02 per share.
Donegal Creameries cop-op was a lone significant positive player on the market this morning, up 46.05c to €53.05.
