ISEQ makes modest gains
It has been a quiet morning for investors as the ISEQ-index of Irish shares made modest gains with a 20.31 increase to stand at 9320.74 at 11.15am.
Most of the financial heavyweights inched ahead slightly.
AIB made the most significant gains with a 19c jump to €22.29. Meanwhile there were only slight increases at other institutions. Anglo Irish and IL&P both moved forward by 2c to stand at €15.95 and €20.92.
Elsewhere AIM listed company zamano has reported satisfactory turnover and profits at the end of 2006 following successfully listing on AIM just a few months ago on October 31.
With continued positive trading and strong profitability and cash generation at the mobile data services provider plans are afoot for a supplementary listing on the Irish Enterprise Exchange (IEX) of the Irish Stock Exchange.
