Around 1,000 jobs were axed today when only part of the struggling Greeting Card Group was saved from administration.

Around 1,000 jobs were axed today when only part of the struggling Greeting Card Group was saved from administration.

The Peterborough-based firm was bought by its management led by new chairman Alan Fort two weeks after going into administration.
