Musgrave appoint Mackeown to board of directors

Musgrave Group has announced the appointment of Philip Mackeown to its board of directors effective immediately.

Mr Mackeown has previously held positions in both Musgrave SuperValu Centra and Musgrave Group’s Spanish division, Dialsur.

He is currently working as a business consultant as well as being involved in the development of the Family Business Programme at University College Cork.

Mr Mackeown, 40, was appointed director designate to the board in December 2005. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from University College Dublin.

Mr Mackeown has also been appointed a member of the Musgrave Group audit, shareholder and remuneration committees of the board.
