£1.7bn housebuilder Wilson Bowden confirms takeover talks

UK housebuilder Wilson Bowden today confirmed it had received takeover approaches from a number of parties.

The Leicester-based company, which has a market value of more than £1.7bn (€2.5bn), is thought to interest George Wimpey, Bellway and Redrow.

Wilson Bowden did not name the interested parties, but stressed that discussions with the parties were at a very early stage.
