Talks fail to resolve dispute between Smart and eircom

Smart Telecom and eircom have failed to resolve their dispute over unpaid bills during talks overseen by the Communications Regulator this morning.

More than 40,000 Smart customers had their services cut off last night because the company has not paid money it owes for the use of eircom's cable network.
