Tangerine takes on Burton's arm

The owner of Mojo chews today added more jelly babies and dolly mixtures to its production line after buying part of Wagon Wheel maker Burton’s Foods.

Blackpool-based Tangerine should increase its annual turnover from around £45m (€66.7m) to £60m (€88.9m) thanks to the move, which will allow Burton to concentrate on biscuit-making.
