DCC helps ISEQ end week positively
DCC stocks helped the ISEQ index of shares into positive territory today with the Dublin market finishing up 16.19 to 7597.97 in early trading.
DCC this morning announced it has acquired Carlton Fuels Limited, a north of England based oil distribution business, for an initial cash consideration of €13.3m, excluding debt. Shares at the business support services group finished up 49c to €19.29.
The financial heavyweights enjoyed mixed fortunes today.
AIB rose 13c to €18.78. However, Anglo Irish bank fell 3c to €11.82, Bank of Ireland fell 3c to €13.82 and Irish Life and Permanent fell 5c to €18.15.
