ISEQ up in early trading
DCC stocks helped the ISEQ index of shares get off to a positive start this morning as the Dublin market was up 28.83 to 7610.61 in early trading.
DCC this morning announced it has acquired Carlton Fuels Limited, a north of England based oil distribution business, for an initial cash consideration of €13.3m, excluding debt. Shares at the business support services group were up 35c to €19.15 this morning.
There were mixed fortunes for the financials this morning. Anglo Irish fared best with a 7c gain to €11.92. Bank of Ireland shares were up 1c to €13.86.
AIB was down 4c to €18.61, however, while Irish Life & Permanent shed 10c to €18.10.
