Harrington Bannon bought in €10m deal

Commercial property consultancy Harrington Bannon has been acquired by European commercial real estate services group Atisreal, a subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Group, in a deal worth close to €10m.

Commercial property consultancy Harrington Bannon has been acquired by European commercial real estate services group Atisreal, a subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Group, in a deal worth close to €10m.

Harrington Bannon, which employs 20 people in Ireland, offers services to corporate and private clients including Castlethorn, Dunloe Ewart, Green Property, Shelbourne Development, Tiltware, Kelloggs, AIB Group, Bank of Ireland and Ericsson.

The company had a turnover of more than €5m last year.

The five-member senior management team at Harrington Bannon will remain with the business.

The main beneficiaries are managing partner Patrick Curran, Partners John McCann, Thomas Carthy, Caitriona Ryan and Conor Whelan.

"Harrington Bannon staff will also benefit from the transaction," the company said in a statement.
