ATGWU wants pay increases linked to economic growth

The Amalgamated Transport and General Workers' Union (ATGWU) has called for all Irish workers to be granted pay increases every year at the same level of economic growth.

The measure is part of a new "wage model" proposed by the union today as a means of maintaining workers' living standards.
