SIPTU and ATGWU sign up to joint May Day venture

Two of the country's biggest unions are teaming up to try and strengthen worker organisation throughout the island.

As the numbers in trade unions continues to decline, SIPTU and the ATGWU have signed up to the joint venture to mark May Day.

The two unions will pool their resources to help anyone working in Ireland, regardless of their country of origin, to join up a trade union and defend their interests.
