Horizon buys software solutions company

Information technology group Horizon has completed the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Irish software solutions company Enterprise Process Consulting Group Limited (EPC).

The deal is for an initial €2m and two further payments determined by results achieved in the next two years.

EPC was formed in 1998 and has delivered more than 50 successful SAP implementation projects, Horizon said today. Three of the founders of EPC will remain with the company and EPC will be merged with Horizon’s existing software solutions operation.

Horizon’s CEO Gary Coburn, said: "The Irish enterprise resource planning market continues to experience strong growth and this acquisition will enhance the capability of Horizon’s consulting division."
