ISEQ breaks 7900 barrier

The ISEQ index of Irish shares got the week of to a positive start this morning, breaking the 7900 barrier, gaining 26.97 points to 7906.18.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares got the week of to a positive start this morning, breaking the 7900 barrier, gaining 26.97 points to 7906.18.

The financial sector enjoyed good fortunes. AIN rose 18c to €19.32, Anglo Irosh Bank rose 11c to €13.50, Bank of Ireland gained 14c to €15.21 and Irish Life and Permanent rose 18c to €18.45.
