The Swedish furniture giant Ikea is planning to open a store on the outskirts of Belfast in a move that could create up to 500 jobs.

The Swedish furniture giant Ikea is planning to open a store on the outskirts of Belfast in a move that could create up to 500 jobs.

The company confirmed today that it was planning to apply for permission to build an outlet at the Holywood Exchange close to Belfast City Airport.
