Banking group Lloyds TSB today ended an 18-month search for a new chairman by announcing the appointment of City grandee Sir Victor Blank.

Banking group Lloyds TSB today ended an 18-month search for a new chairman by announcing the appointment of City grandee Sir Victor Blank.

Lloyds TSB confirmed widespread speculation fuelled by news earlier this week that Blank is to stand down as chairman of newspaper group Trinity Mirror.
