Lloyds Banking Group chairman Victor Blank is set to step down, it was reported today.

Banking group Lloyds TSB today ended an 18-month search for a new chairman by announcing the appointment of City grandee Sir Victor Blank.

Wal-Mart plans to appeal against a $172m (€144m) judgment awarded to thousands of employees who claimed they were illegally denied lunch breaks.
