Viridian, McInerney boost ISEQ
The ISEQ was up 36.49 points at 7504.34 at 10.30am today.
All-island energy group Viridian made the biggest gain, up 31c (2.4%) at €13.33.
McInerney Holdings was up 15c (1.4%) at €11.10, following its announcement this morning that house completions were up 13% in 2005.
CRH gained 22c to €25.72.
Business support services company DCC was up 20c (1.1%) at €18.70 mid-morning.
Insurer FBD rose 20c to €36.00.
Allied Irish Bank made a gain of 15c to €18.00. Anglo Irish Bank was up 5c at €12.75, following news this morning that it had placed 33 million new ordinary shares. Anglo was the morning’s busiest share.
Bank of Ireland was up 1c at €13.51, while Irish Life and Permanent was unchanged at €17.15.
Independent News and Media gained 1c to €2.70.
Horizon Technologies was unchanged at €1.28, following a trading statement in line with expectations this morning.
