Ahern in New Delhi today as part of India trade mission

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, is due to visit New Dehli today as part of the Irish trade mission to India taking place this week.

Mr Ahern is due to give a keynote address at the Nehru Memorial Library in the city and meet the local Irish community.

The Taoiseach is currently leading a high-level delegation on a six-day trip to India designed to improve the country's trade and cultural links with Ireland.

He is accompanied by the Ministers for Enterprise, Education and the Arts, as well as over a hundred-and-fifty business representatives from both sides of the Irish border.
