Union members in Britain are welcoming the resolution in the row between Irish Ferries and its workers.

Union members in Britain are welcoming the resolution in the row between Irish Ferries and its workers.

In a statement today the British TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber says the dispute was more than a little local difficulty, and he's glad that sense has prevailed.

He says workers across Europe will be glad that wages have been protected and rights respected.
