Both sides in the Irish Ferries dispute are due to resume talks today in an effort to resolve the bitter row over the company's controversial "outsourcing" plan.

The talks began yesterday under the auspices of the Labour Relations Commission, following an intervention from the body set up to oversee compliance with social partnership.
