The ISEQ index of Irish shares rose 20.36 points to 7022.44 in morning trade today.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares rose 20.36 points to 7022.44 in morning trade today.

There was an enthusiastic response to builders' merchants and DIY group Grafton's announcement of the acquisition of two businesses. Shares in the group were up 17c to €8.48 today.
